What Should You Expect?

First, you should expect to remain comfortable during an MRI exam at California Orthopaedic Institute, because the procedure is painless. You won't see, feel or hear anything.

Our E-Scan® XQ MRI equipment is state-of-the-art, and its open-air design eliminates the unpleasant "closed-in" feeling that older equipment can cause in patients.

Expect the exam to take between 45 minutes and an hour, depending upon the type of exam.
