What Should You Expect?

First, you should expect to remain comfortable during an MRI exam at California Orthopaedic Institute, because the procedure is painless. You won't see, feel or hear anything.

Our Signa HDe 1.5T MRI equipment is state-of-the-art and takes 30% less time than other MRI systems. This is the same MRI unit chosen for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games.

Expect the exam to take 30-45 minutes, depending upon the type of exam.
